Why I am a wedding officiant
History of events creates the story...
A very observant husband (my customer) says he notices his wife eyeing that tea set.
"Could you wrap it up for me? I'll slip away and put it in our auto while she's in the gallery".
I was a guest at a wedding for a couple who were beginning their lives together, close to their forties. The wedding officiant asked everyone to gather for a prayer for children. Yes, two beautiful children have completed this love event.
As a coordinator of wedding years ago, I observed a wedding officiant assist in making the bride and groom's day timeless, selfless, and full of care and love.
My best friend's soon to be husband asked me to plan a wedding ceremony for them in six hours! Tea lights and a private space made it perfect. The minister asked me if I had a bible. I promptly pulled mine off the coffee table. We were in business for a great evening! Always be prepared!
Being asked to sing love songs at anniversary celebrations, church, and even coffee shops
is such an honor to love - all by itself!

is a Christian licensed and ordained minister who is licensed to officiate weddings in the State of Ohio. She graciously serves northeastern Ohio.
Dr. Hayes is an author, singer, women’s ministry facilitator, and Sunday school teacher, illustrator, and pillow designer!
She has two amazing and kind adult children, a perfect daughter in love, an extremely beautiful bouquet of grandchildren, and two grand puppies. Gwendolyn writes, worships, produces music, and is learning to roller skate in northeastern Ohio with her favorite dance partner husband.
Dr. Hayes will be happy and honored to be part of planning the wedding celebration of your new family!

Gwendolyn is a regional conference speaker and consultant for non-profits. she is the founder and CEO of Gwendolyn Hayes Clear View Consulting, LLC.
Gwendolyn is the author of Don't Forget Your Charger: Biblical Power Surges for True Power Couples, God is a Wonder: Bedside Inspirations to Nourish Your Spirit, Mrs. Bumblebee and Her Counting Wings, and also, Mrs. Bumblebee and Her Perfectly Perfect Nature Friends.
She is the designer of Praying Angel Pillows and Yummy Church Pillows.
She holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Education from Kent State University, a Christian Education certification from Ashland Theological Seminary, and an Education Specialist degree from Northcentral University. She also holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University with a focus on church leadership. Past board service includes the American Cancer Society, the Thomas-Anderson Neighborhood Development Corporation, and chaplainship for Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Dr. Hayes enjoys creating annual back-to-school pizza parties, and ice cream sundae day projects for local crisis shelters.
Oh - she loves to write, as you can see. Dr. Hayes would enjoy creating a custom wedding ceremony program for the engaged couple or the renewing of vows couple.

There is a Gospel Recording Artist in town!
Her self-produced CD, When He Touched Me, was recognized by The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing for spiritual wellness.
Dr. Hayes is available to sing contemporary, gospel jazz, spirituals, and jazz standards with music or acapella.
